Privacy

01 Sign-in
Sign-in is handled by Privy. If you sign in with email, Google or X, Privy stores that login and creates a Solana wallet for you; its key is held by Privy, not by us, and you can export it at any time. We receive your account id, your wallet address and, if you linked X, your username.
02 What we collect
Your payout wallet address and, if you linked one, your X username. When you catch: the GPS readings sent with that catch, your device time zone, a summary of motion sensor readings, a random device id stored on your phone, and your IP address.
03 Photos
When the app asks for photos, they are fingerprinted (a hash) so the same picture cannot be reused. We do not publish them.
04 Location
While the app is open it sends your GPS readings every 30 seconds to fill your Outside meter, and a short GPS log when you open a chest. Other players never see where you are.
05 What is public
Catches appear on the public feed with your shortened wallet address (or X handle), the park and the time. Payouts are public on the Solana blockchain by nature.
06 What we never ask for
Your seed phrase, private key, password, or a signature to unlock a payout. Anyone asking for these is not us.
07 Retention
Catch records are kept to enforce limits and prevent fraud. You can ask us to remove your X handle from the feed at any time.
